Royal Keane started a new job as a fashion model in a new ad with his dog.

When he stood for the camera in adidas’ new outdoor line, the tough guy did something similar to what David Beckham did.

A lot of people liked Roy Keane as a face for the new adidas line.

 

The player who used to play for Manchester United was the face of the Special AW23 line.

In the video, he went out on Lake Windermere in a boat.

When the video starts, Keane walks his dog Jet in the farmland of the Lake District. He then drives a boat across the water.

Getting ready for winter by putting on a bunch of smart jackets and shoes, he thought about his job, leaving the beautiful game, and what life is like now that it moves more slowly.

“I played to win from the time I was eight or nine years old,” Keane said.

It was like being on the wildest roller ride of your life.

“The highs are crazy, and the lows… my goodness.” But sometimes you need to lose to win.

“The hardest thing for any athlete is really when their career ends.”

“You have to accept that you’ll probably never hit those highs again.

“Nothing else in my life will ever give me that rush.”

“Winning things in the locker room with good teammates and players… oh, man, it’s really amazing.”

In terms of my job and my family, life has been pretty good for me.

“In reality, I’m very happy with my life.

“That can go sometimes, but overall, yeah, I’m pretty happy.”

It was easy for Keane to be in front of the camera. He was well-known as an expert on Sky Sports and ITV.

The fans loved how the former captain of Manchester United went out of his way to model the adidas fall and winter clothes.

A lot of people liked the yellow jacket.

Before the camera, Keane even gave a small smile.

The Irishman looked great in front of the camera.

As one person put it, “I never thought I’d see Roy Keane as a fashion icon.” Congratulations to whoever got him to agree to take part.

As someone else put it, “Keano and adidas Spezial, it doesn’t get any better.”

“Legend looks good in the new gear,” said a third.

Someone else wrote, “I love this man.”

As of November 16, the Spezial line can only be bought through the adidas app. There are seven new shoe styles—t-shirts, joggers, weatherproof pants, zip jackets, gold puffers, and brown coats—in the range.

Gary Aspden, who started Spezial, created the line, which is made of a lot of used fabrics.

Part of the selection were different zip-up coats.

Fans were happy about the new job.
