The Norwegian international joined Manchester City this past summer and has already scored 14 goals in eight games in the Premier League.

However, according to former Real Madrid player Fernando Sanz, Haaland has a clause in his contract that means Real Madrid has priority in activating his buy-out clause in 2024:

“The information I have is that there is an exit clause in the second year of Haaland’s contract, and the curious thing is that it provides very beneficial conditions for one specific club, which is Real Madrid.”

It is believed that the 22-year-old’s release clause is €200 million in 2024 and €175 million in 2025.
