Real Madrid’s €70 million-rated target could sign new contract with Bayern Munich

It is well established by this point that Real Madrid has a strong interest in signing Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies in the summer.

The 23-year-old Canadian international is one of the Merengues’ top targets for the summer transfer window, with the club looking for upgrades in the left-back position.

The fact that Davies’ contract with Bayern Munich expires in 2025 makes him an even more attractive prospect for Real Madrid.

However, there appears to be a fresh twist in the tale. While previous reports had suggested that contract talks between Alphonso Davies and Bayern Munich were not progressing well, a new update indicates otherwise.

Indeed, as per David Ornstein of The Athletic, there is a solid chance that the left-back, whose market value stands at €70 million, signs a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The report suggests that the latest proposal tabled by the Bavarian giants is much superior to their previous contract offers.Không có mô tả ảnh.

And it appears that it has managed to convince Davies to put pen to paper on the deal. As such, Ornstein claims that, unless something changes, the Canadian international could end up renewing his contract with the Bundesliga champions.

If true, it would come as a big blow for Real Madrid, who have been planning to sign the 23-year-old for a while now.

The plan was to bring Davies in and offload Ferland Mendy in the summer, but if the former does not arrive, it will be interesting to see if Los Blancos offer the Frenchman a new contract.
