City got straight back to work on Wednesday as the build-up continues ahead of Friday’s FA Cup fourth-round trip to Tottenham Hotspur.

Having arrived back in Manchester from our warm weather training camp in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday teatime, the players were immediately back in the groove at the CFA as the countdown continued to an eagerly awaited trip to the capital.

The sunny skies and warm temperatures of Abu Dhabi may have disappeared.

But, as our gallery illustrated, manager Pep Guardiola and his players were in buoyant spirits as they went about Wednesday’s session.
