Chelsea is willing to cash in on Armando Broja this month, according to David Ornstein.
The Blues’ January transfer window has thus far been mainly focused on outgoings, and that trend is set to continue, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic. The journalist reports that Chelsea are willing to entertain offers for Albanian striker Armando Broja despite their shortage of options in that department.
Ornstein has confirmed FootballTransfers’ reporting from December that West Ham are among the clubs interested in signing the 22-year-old. He has also mentioned Fulham and Wolves as potential destinations.
Intriguingly, Broja’s potential departure will not be contingent on a replacement being signed, despite the continuous links to high-profile number nines such as Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres, the latter of whom is not a target for the Blues this month.
Despite Nicolas Jackson currently being at the Africa Cup of Nations, Chelsea does not feel it is imperative to bring in attacking reinforcement. Christopher Nkunku’s latest injury is not serious, and he will be available again shortly.
