Social media is full of videos of Andre Onana enjoying Manchester United’s comeback win over Aston Villa that no one has seen before.

Erik ten Hag is under more and more heat after a string of bad results, so the club needed to get going at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s £1.3bn deal to buy a 25% stake in the club was finally announced on Sunday. Sir David Brailsford, the 71-year-old billionaire’s right-hand man, and INEOS sports director, watched from the stands.

United fell behind early against Unai Emery’s high-flying Villa, with John McGinn and Leander Dendoncker giving the visitors a two-goal lead at halftime. Fans had hoped that the investment would boost confidence in the game.

Rasmus Hojlund scored his first Premier League goal with less than 10 minutes left in regular time to give United the lead and send the 74,000-strong crowd into a frenzy.

Onana seemed to enjoy the celebrations. In a clip from Amazon Prime Video Sport’s TikTok, he can be seen running from his goal line to join the fans in cheering after Garnacho’s level.

Then Onana ran the length of the field to join his teammates in congratulating the £72 million summer signing as he scored the game-winning goal.
