In answer to the question of whether he misses the fans’ support and the thrill of playing at the famous Camp Nou, Kessie said the following:

Frank Kessie was not signed by any team when Barcelona signed him the year before. While he was with the club, the midfielder was in charge of some great moments, even though he was sold this summer.

In an interview with E-Noticies, Kessie, who plays for Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League right now, talked about how much he loved his time at Barcelona. Kessie is a player in the Saudi Pro League right now.

Kessie thinks about the time he spent in the past of Barcelona.

In answer to the question of whether he misses the fans’ support and the thrill of playing at the famous Camp Nou, Kessie said the following:

I miss having the backing of the Barcelona fans, that’s for sure. Being able to play in a venue with 100,000 seats, like Camp Nou, is something I don’t think is possible in Europe. The fact that I miss Camp Nou goes without saying.

At her core, Kessie still sees herself as a Catalan, even though she is no longer connected to the club in any way. When asked if he still watches Barcelona games, he told the reporter:

The answer is yes, I do my best to help all of them from afar. Barcelona is my favorite team, and I watch all of their games with great pride.

No matter that the Ivorian international player never became a regular starting at Barcelona, he was still an important part of the team. People will remember the goal he scored in the last minute of the Clasico that won it for Barcelona and made them the La Liga winners.

As Kessie thought about his time there, he showed how grateful and happy he was by doing the following:

I have many wonderful memories of my time in Barcelona that I will always treasure. I was able to win the Suρer Cup and La Liga in my first football season. I will always remember with love the city of Barcelona, the coaches, and the great players I had the chance to play with there.

Not only did he talk about the current state of the team, but he also talked about some young players with a lot of promise and reaffirmed his support for them.
