Neymar’s Heartwarming Act: Compassionate Visit to Hutchinson-Gilford Syndrome Sufferer Touches Hearts

After one of Brazil’s international games, Neymar paid a touching visit to Hutchinson-Gilford syndrome patient Ana Clara.

A video of an eight-year-old girl pleading for the world’s most expensive footballer to meet her went viral, and the Brazilian complied.

Progeria, or Hutchinson-Gilford syndrome, is a premature aging condition caused by a very rare inherited illness. Those who are born with Progeria have a life expectancy of the mid- to early-twenties.

Ana is from Minas Gerais, Brazil, and she met Neymar after his game against Bolivia on Monday.

Ana, his biggest admirer, hugged him and then gushed, “I am very happy to meet Neymar.”

Before returning to Paris, Neymar will play in one final international game.

Even though Brazil has already qualified for the 2018 World Cup, their match against Chile on Tuesday night is a meaningless deаd rubber.

When asked how many points Brazil could possibly win by, Ana answered, “Ten!”

“Wow, what pressure you put me on now,” Neymar laughed back.

After their meeting, Neymar posted some photos to Instagram with the remark, “Dream as much as you can, always do. Stay positive, Ana Clara.
