Inside Man City former Raheem Sterling’s £3.1m mansion with ‘sumptuous’ furniture

Raheem Sterling is preparing for his proposed move to Chelsea by putting his Cheshire mansion on the market, with Trent Alexander-Arnold interested in buying the property

Raheem Sterling is in talks to sell his £3.1million Cheshire mansion to Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold as the Manchester City star closes in on a move to Chelsea.

The winger has been in talks with his compatriot Alexander-Arnold, who is looking to move from his current house in south Manchester. He currently resides on the same street as team-mate Alisson Becker and ex-Manchester United star Paul Pogba.

But according to The Sunday Mirror, Sterling is looking to sell his Cheshire mansion for around £4.5m, which could pocket him a tidy profit of £1.4m after acquiring the property back in 2017 and clear the path for his £45m move to Chelsea.

The 27-year-old currently lives there with his property developer fiancee Paige Milian and their two young sons.

Sterling's huge kitchen features an enormous white marble island

The property, located in a village near Crewe, boasts five luxurious bedrooms with a modern grey colour scheme splashed across the walls – and even has its own wildlife pond in the surrounding marshland.

There is an annex with a spare bedroom above the garage, fitted with an outdoor basketball hoop, with the property covering a massive 7,500 sq ft area.

After going through the front door, visitors will notice a matte black staircase in the hallway with a grand piano for good measure.

Inside their home, the couple have fitted a white marble top and glossy cabinets to complement their stone flooring in the kitchen, with chic red seats accompanying the enormous island.

And when he is at home relaxing away from football, Sterling’s lounge provides comfort beyond belief. The living room at his incredible home features a grey-coloured furniture with soft velvet material, a typical choice of interior design for Premier League footballers.

There are also two bathrooms, with the first featuring an indigo colour scheme to give it a royal feel with powerful shower jets built into the wall. On the other side of the room, a custom design bath is built in by the window.

The other bathroom is more contemporary, with a calm feel completed by the ivory wooden panels on the wall and a state-of-the-art jacuzzi bath positioned in the centre of the room.

And if he manages to push through the sale in the coming weeks, it could give the City forward the green light to leave the Etihad this summer as talks continue with Chelsea.

The England international has been strongly linked with a £45m switch to join Thomas Tuchel’s side as Todd Boehly looks to make a statement signing with his first piece of transfer business.

And it is understood the two clubs are in advanced talks with a deal close to being finalised. Sterling has been asking his England colleagues that play for Chelsea about life in London ahead of his proposed switch to Stamford Bridge after spending seven years in Manchester.

Although Sterling played 44 times for City last season, scoring 17 goals, a host of his appearances were from the bench and the forward is keen to start more games as he approaches the peak years of his career.

He was particularly disappointed to be left out of the semi-final ties against Real Madrid last season and, with his contract due to expire in 2023, Sterling is preparing for a fresh start.
